Last night, Bolton Masonic Hall hosted a memorable evening as Goulburn Menturia 3478 held their annual Installation meeting. The Brethren were filled with excitement and anticipation, eager to witness Bro Samuel Rimmer being installed as Worshipful Master of Goulburn Menturia for the first time.
Over 60 Brethren attended the event, with WBro Mo Afsa PAGDC attending as the Representative of the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master.
After opening the lodge, the Installation ceremony commenced. WM Paul Wood installed Bro Samuel Rimmer in the Chair of King Solomon, assisted by Goulburn Menturia’s DC, WBro Roy Tuke PProvDGDC. The ceremony proceeded smoothly and skillfully, leaving a lasting impression on every Brother.
A brother of Goulburn Menturia, with WBro John Welsby (WM of Lodge of Charity 350), and Bro Dan Gaunt presented and explained the Working Tools of each degree, offering thoughtful moralisations. The newly installed WM Samuel Rimmer then showcased his command of the lodge by leading Goulburn Menturia for the remainder of the meeting, which concluded in peace and harmony.
Following the installation meeting, WBro Mo Afsa delivered a resounding and personal toast to the new Worshipful Master before the start of the meal at the Festive Board. The Brethren enjoyed a social and joyful evening, with many Brethren savouring the fine Hakushu whisky generously provided by Bro Ian Horrocks. WBro Geoff Worsley PProvGSwdB’s delightful rendition of the Master’s Song energised the gathering of Brethren and added to the night’s memorable and festive atmosphere.
